Services for MRI and Interventional Radiology are also provided. We also provide support for special procedures like E.R.C.P. and endoscopic ultrasonography. We perform and interpret more than 50,000 patient examinations annually.

In addition to diagnostic imaging, guided procedures like VSG/CT guided FNAC / biopsy, fluid aspirations & catheter insertion and drainage of lesions (eg. collection / abscess, etc) are performed.

The department faculty has a multidisciplinary approach & work with interdepartmental specialists (eg. surgical / medical / intensive care, etc) in interpretation & guidance of MRI, CT scans, ultrasonography, fluoroscopy & conventional radiography.

Stringent protocols and high quality standards as per the NABH standards of reporting are maintained throughout the department. From acquisition of images to their interpretation, the images are individually tailored to address the specific clinical needs.

We have a round the clock back up of Anesthesiologists. The irritable or non cooperative patients are scanned under strict and guided anesthesia.

The Radio diagnostics being an in house department at Meditrina, all the emergencies that may occur during the scanning process can be tackled immediately.
